Trucking Safety Assistant | Chicago

About the company: We are a US-based safety and compliance consulting firm for transportation companies. We help clients comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements and prepare for audits. Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST. Pay: Starting at $800 per week, 1099. This may be revised based on previous experience in Safety. Responsibilities: Communicating with clients and drivers in Russian and English Verifying driver documents and maintaining DQ Files Monitoring CDL, Medical Card, MVR, and other document expirations Working with Clearinghouse and drug/alcohol testing Tracking inspections, violations, and accidents Assisting in preparing for DOT audits Working with Google Drive, Sheets, Excel, Word, and internal systems Interacting with the Safety, Legal, and Client Support teams Requirements: 20+ years Minimum 6 months of full-time work experience in the US Fluent Russian and good English Confident computer skills Good communication and organizational skills Ability to legally work in the US Willingness to work from the office only Additionally: After 3 months, short-term trips to other states to assist with audits are possible. All expenses are covered by the company. The first 2 days are an unpaid introductory training. After 3 months, paid vacation and paid holidays are provided.
