An established CPA firm in Sheepshead Bay is hiring a full-time entry-level accountant.  What you’ll do Prepare business tax returns (S corporations, C corporations, partnerships) and individual returns Prepare and file sales tax returns Do bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks and other software Call the IRS and state tax agencies for clients to resolve notices, payment issues and account questions Answer phones and greet clients What we’re looking for A degree in accounting, or working toward one. Colledge students and recent graduates are welcome. QuickBooks, ProSeries or office experience is a plus. Fluent spoken and written English. Organized, reliable, detail-oriented and good on the phone.
